These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Crewfinder, a professional hiring and discovery platform connecting freelancers, companies, venues, and service providers in the production, events, film, and media industry.

By accessing or using Crewfinder, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Crewfinder provides tools to discover professionals and businesses, connect users for hiring opportunities, and manage profiles, opportunities, and collaboration workflows.

• Crewfinder does not employ freelancers or service providers.
• Crewfinder does not act as an agent or representative of any user.
• Crewfinder does not guarantee work, hiring outcomes, or engagements.

All engagements formed through Crewfinder are independent agreements between users.

• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You must maintain and update your account details.
• You must keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Crewfinder reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Crewfinder supports multiple account types, including freelancers, companies, service providers, and venues. Each user is responsible for ensuring their account type and profile information accurately reflects their real-world identity and services.

Users may upload and publish content including profiles, listings, job opportunities, and portfolios.

By submitting content, you grant Crewfinder a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the platform.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.

Crewfinder may charge fees for subscriptions, premium features, and visibility or listing upgrades. All such payments are made to Crewfinder.

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as PayFast. Crewfinder does not store full payment card details.

Crewfinder does not process payments between users, act as an escrow service, or facilitate payouts to freelancers or service providers. Any financial agreements between users occur outside the platform.

Refunds are handled at Crewfinder's discretion and may be subject to billing errors, duplicate charges, or service availability issues.

Crewfinder facilitates connections but is not a party to employment relationships, service agreements, or contracts between users.

• Users are solely responsible for negotiating terms.
• Users are solely responsible for verifying credentials.
• Users are solely responsible for managing payments and deliverables.

Crewfinder does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any engagement.

Crewfinder may provide AI-powered features, including freelancer suggestions, scheduling optimization, conflict detection, and assignment recommendations.

• AI outputs are advisory only.
• AI outputs are based on available data and system logic.
• AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.

Users must exercise independent judgment when making decisions. Crewfinder is not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs.

All users must comply with the Crewfinder Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of the AUP may result in account suspension, account termination, or removal of content.

Crewfinder may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or the AUP, for fraudulent or suspicious activity, or to comply with legal obligations.

Users may also request account deletion.

Crewfinder is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

• Crewfinder does not guarantee platform availability or uptime.
• Crewfinder does not guarantee accuracy of user content.
• Crewfinder does not guarantee successful hiring outcomes.
• Crewfinder does not guarantee suitability of any user or service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crewfinder shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of income, business, or opportunities, disputes between users, or outcomes of hiring or engagements.

Crewfinder is not responsible for resolving disputes between users. However, Crewfinder may review complaints and take action on accounts where policy violations occur.

Use of Crewfinder is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Crewfinder may modify or discontinue features, introduce new services, or update pricing at any time.

Crewfinder may update these Terms from time to time. Where required, users will be notified. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
